Join Gardening Australia’s Jerry Coleby-Williams on Saturday 13 August for a free day of gardening and science fun here at Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens. Jerry, along with ABC radio gardening experts, Phil Dunman and Kate Heffernan, will be on hand to provide tips and advice on plants for Gold Coast gardens, backyard biodiversity, budget gardening and more.

Bring your plants to our plant clinic and learn more about gardening, composting, worm farming, plant propagation, sustainable energy, bush foods, rare plants and bushfire preparedness with a range of talks, displays and workshops.

There will also be guided walks, live cooking demonstrations, music, food and plant sales. Plus, for the kids, a chance to get their hands dirty with nature adventures, mini-beast hunts, wildlife show, bats, butterflies, boomerang throwing, fire stick lighting, nature craft, live fire displays and face painting.

Not only will this event be a fun day out, it will be a great opportunity for home owners and buyers to learn about what plants are the best for landscaping on the Coast for every budget!
