About Courtenay
Courtenay has a passion for the real estate industry, in supporting people with their property needs, whether it being selling or buying their most valuable possession, their home, or assisting owners who wish to fulfill their dreams of building their investment portfolio.
She is from a long bloodline of real estate agents in her family and has many years’ experiences in the industry due the love of real estate in the family. Since 2008 Courtenay has worked in administration, property management, and carried out her sales training as sales associate to the agency’s top agent, all of which provided a rich understanding for a client’s needs as a sales agent. She prides herself on her passion for people, her strong organisation skills, being ethical and honest and her abundant energy to see things through.
With a plethora of client-based work experiences to her credit from over fifteen years being in the work force, which includes working within the real estate industry over ten years and previously as a Sydney based flight attendant in her early years, Courtenay has all the professional, ethical and attention-to-detail skills needed to complement the industry and to provide a client the one-on-one service that they deserve.
Courtenay’s natural ability to engage her customers reflects her innate and learned abilities, as well her family’s history in Gold Coast Real Estate. Her father John Newlands who has been in the industry over 30 years is the principal of Professionals Newlands Real Estate, as well as a current board member of Professionals Australia and a past board member of the REIQ. Her mother also owns a Real Estate in Mermaid Beach. Because of this rich family involvement in the industry in sales, property management and project management, coupled with her love of the Gold Coast, it is natural that Courtenay successfully lives and breathes ‘everything’ real estate.
