The Gold Coast Tri – Luke Harrop Memorial has long been known as the triathlon for triathletes – if there is one race on the calendar not to miss, this is it.  Join all the action on Sunday 7th April.

We’d love you to join us for some fast and flat racing at the beautiful Broadwater Parklands at the northern end of the Gold Coast.  With Sprint, Enticer and Kool Kids options available, there is something for everyone.

Championship events:

Gold Coast Triathlon – Luke Harrop Memorial plays host to a series of championship events as part of the weekend festival.

  • Saturday 6th April sees athletes take to the track for the National Aquathlon Championships.
  • Sunday events double as the Triathlon Australia National Championships and attracts double points as a qualifying event to compete for Australia at the Age Group ITU World Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2019.  This event is also the Triathlon Australia National Championship for Paratriathlon and TWD.
  • Open elite competitors have the opportunity to take on the regions best athletes in the OTU Cup Event in the draft-legal format.

Road closure information:

Saturday, April 6th, 2019 – there are no road closures.

Sunday, April 7th, 2019 – road closures will be in place on the Gold Coast Highway between North Street and Brisbane Road, and Marine Parade between Brisbane Road and Burrows Street between 5.15am and 11.30am.  Please see below for specific information, and access routes within the road closure:
