The overseas buyers have returned! After international interest all but ground to a halt in 2022, overseas interest has been piqued once more with the announcement of the international borders reopening.
Real estate agents from Professionals Surfers Paradise and around the Gold Coast are reporting increased buyer interest from overseas investors, with the areas of Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads, Coolangatta, and Miami attracting particular interest.
A large number of these inquiries are coming from ex-pats – Returning from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the USA, many are hoping to secure a property on the Gold Coast and plant their roots, bringing their families back to the country once more.
Increased buyer interest in the Gold Coast area is also likely due to the lifestyle that the Gold Coast offers. Pristine beaches, protected hinterland and plenty of shopping, dining, and transport options are all nearby, making the Gold Coast the ideal place to settle down.
