Lunar New Year in China Town, Southport
This year’s fiery festivities include a vibrant melting pot of colourful entertainment. See lion and dragon dancers, market stalls, kids activities (paper-cutting and Chinese calligraphy), an interactive wishing tree, fan and umbrella dancing, and a sizzling fireworks finale!

Chinese New Year at Cavill Lane, Surfers Paradise
LIVE & FREE lion dances from 12-1pm & 6-7pm. These traditional, colourful, and friendly lions are coming to Cavill Lane to entertain and delight. Stop in for lunch or dinner in one of the several Asian restaurants in the lane to experience the fun and capture the moment.
