SIPFest, otherwise known as Shorts in Paradise Festival, is an annual showcase of the best short films from across Australia and is a key event of the Gold Coast Film Festival.

SIPFest transforms Surfers Paradise Beach into a unique outdoor cinema space, delivering a film experience like no other in Australia. With sand at your feet and stars above, be captivated by short minute cinematic masterpieces in the genres of thriller, drama, comedy, documentary and more.
SIPFest provides an opportunity to identify and reward talented emerging filmmakers both locally and from around Australia. $8,000 in prizes will be awarded by a panel of industry experts, while the audience can cast their own vote for the People’s Choice Award.
